Homes for Heroes honors, supports, serves and thanks Teachers, Healthcare Professionals, EMS, Firefighters, Law Enforcement, Military (active, reserves and veterans). This also includes all the support staff of our Heroes and retired Heroes. In order to be selected to be a Homes for Heroes Real Estate Specialist, I needed to go through an interview, application process. It was necessary that I was a person that a had a true desire to help and serve people especially local Heroes and the Community. During the preliminary process it was very important that I was a good match for the Home for Heroes program. That we shared the same passion of helping, serving and giving back to Heroes and the Community. It is all about having a true desire to serve local Heroes. As a retired teacher and principal, I have always helped people. As an experienced Real Estate Agent, I believe it's important to make a positive impact with the Community, to give back and say thank you to those who deserve it. Through my participation in this program, I am able to use my skills and knowledge to make a difference in the lives of Heroes in the community. Homes for Heroes was established following the tragic events of 9/11 as a way to give back and say “Thank you” to our nation's Heroes. Heroes are rewarded or receive Hero Rewards when they buy, sell or refinance their home through Homes for Heroes and their Real Estate Affiliate Specialist. Heroes receive extraordinary savings buying,selling or refinancing a home. Buy or Sell a home through a Home for Heroes Real Estate Specialist and receive a check from Homes for Heroes. For simple math if you bought or sold a home for $1,000,000.00 you would receive a check for $7,000.00 from Homes for Heroes and me as your Real Estate Affiliate Specialist. Mortgage or refinance a home and receive reduced lending fees. Local business affiliates also provide special Hero discounts. I understand the unique challenges that Heroes face, and I am dedicated to doing everything possible to make the process of buying or selling a home a little easier for you. The goal is to provide extraordinary savings to Heroes who provide extraordinary services to our nation and it's communities every day. In addition, a portion of Homes for Heroes' earnings is donated to the Homes for Heroes Foundation, a non-profit that provides assistance to Heroes in need. Homes for Heroes has given back over $100 million dollars to help make it more affordable for Firefighters, EMS, Law Enforcement, Military, Healthcare Professionals and Teachers to achieve their own ultimate dream, the dream of home ownership.
